Pull Up A Chair
Each week, I write a letter to the women gathered around my table, and call it “Around My Table.”
It’s slower than Instagram, more personal than a podcast, and filled with things I would share if we had an hour together over lunch.
Why I write these letters:
Years ago, when blogging was all the rage, I wrote a post every week, even if I didn’t have much to say.
That eventually morphed into podcasting, reels, and short snippets on social media.
But you know what I miss?
The writing.
Oh, how I miss the writing.
And, with that, I miss genuine connection outside of social media – the kind that is built around kitchen tables and in living rooms.
So, each week, I write the kind of letter I hope to receive – one filled with faithful insight, delicious food, and invitations to walk with Jesus Christ, written by someone learning to follow Him while laughing at herself along the way.
I’d love to save you a seat.
The Kinds of Conversations We Have:
From the Kitchen:
Practical tips and plant-forward recipes that are not only nourishing but also wildly delicious
From the Gospel:
Ideas I have been pondering that lead me closer to Jesus Christ and encourage me to choose Him every day
From Everyday Life
The ordinary moments of motherhood, empty nesting, and learning to laugh at the hilarity of life
From the Table:
Conversations worth having – the kind that stay with you long after the dishes are done, complete with invitations to do things that will bring you closer to Jesus
Maybe we met on Instagram.
Or, perhaps, through the podcast.
But this letter is my favorite thing I create all week, free from distractions, algorithms, and disappearing stories.
It’s a place where I can slow down and get more personal, just like I would if you were sitting around my kitchen table.
