Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease and flour three large loaf pans
  3. In a medium bowl, mix flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and pumpkin pie spice.
  4. In a large bowl, combine pumpkin, sugar, eggs, and oil. Mix well.
  5. Stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined. Do not over mix.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Divide batter into loaf pans and place in preheated oven. Bake for one hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center of each loaf comes out clean.
  8. Remove loaves from oven and allow to cool in the pans on a wire rack for five minutes or so.
  9. Remove loaves from pans and cool completely before slicing.

Notes

You can use the following substitution for pumpkin pie spice:

2 teaspoons cinnamon, 2 teaspoons nutmeg, 2 teaspoons ground cloves, 2 teaspoons allspice
